The Process

Creating each artwork is a journey of careful observation, patience, and detail. Through every stage of the process, my goal is to bring the personality and spirit of the animal to life.

The Beginning

Every artwork begins with careful planning and a little nervous excitement for the journey ahead. The first layers shape the foundation of the artwork as the blank canvas disappears.

Bringing It to Life

Working patiently layer by layer, I build texture, depth, and realism while capturing the unique character of the animal.

The Finished Artwork

After many hours, days and weeks - and sometimes months - of work, this can be the hardest part... knowing when to stop and let go. But the satisfaction of knowing that somewhere someone is about to receive their commissioned artwork makes every hour worth it.

More Than a Portrait
